Our goal is to handle personal information responsibly and transparently while collecting only information that is reasonably necessary to operate and secure the WRV Comics platform.
Depending on how you use WRV Comics, we may process several categories of information.
When you sign in through Google or another authentication method made available by WRV Comics, we may receive basic account information provided by the authentication provider, including your name, email address, profile image, unique account identifier and authentication-related information required to maintain your account and signed-in session.
WRV Comics does not request or store your Google password. Authentication is handled through the relevant authentication provider and Firebase Authentication infrastructure.
When you purchase a digital comic, we may process information required to identify and verify the transaction. This may include the purchased comic, transaction reference, payment status, amount, currency, account identifier, transaction timestamps and other information returned by the payment provider.
Payments are processed through Flutterwave or another payment service that WRV Comics may use. WRV Comics does not intentionally store your complete debit or credit card number, card security code, banking password or PIN.
When you use WRV Comics, our hosting, authentication, security and infrastructure providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, error information and security-related logs.
This information may be used to maintain functionality, troubleshoot technical problems, detect abuse, protect accounts and transactions, and maintain the security and reliability of the website.
If you use WRV Comics Community, ratings, reviews, or related interactive features, we may collect information associated with that activity. This may include your display name, profile image, posts, replies, uploaded images, reactions, ratings, reviews, associated comic or chapter information, timestamps, reports, moderation activity, and other information necessary to operate and protect these features.

WRV Comics may associate a purchased comic with the authenticated account used during the purchase. This allows eligible purchases to appear in the user's library and remain associated with the appropriate account.
If a payment is successfully completed but a purchased comic does not immediately appear in My Library, WRV Comics may use transaction and account information to reconcile the payment and determine the correct access status.
Payment information is handled through the payment provider used by WRV Comics. Payment providers may process personal and transaction information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
WRV Comics may retain transaction references and payment status information necessary to confirm purchases, provide access, prevent duplicate fulfillment, investigate payment issues and maintain appropriate transaction records.
WRV Comics relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate portions of the platform. These may include Firebase services provided by Google for hosting, authentication, databases and related infrastructure, Google authentication services, Flutterwave for payment processing, and other providers that may be introduced as the platform develops.
Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies and terms. We seek to use information only to the extent reasonably necessary for the services they provide.
WRV Comics and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, session technologies or similar mechanisms to maintain authentication, support security, remember relevant preferences and provide essential website functionality.
Disabling or deleting certain storage technologies may affect your ability to sign in or use portions of the website.
WRV Comics does not sell your personal information.
